Welcome to My New Site

This is it! The new site, with updated content and a streamlined new look. I’m going to continue to add content, so check back. I am also going to be using this blog more for stuff that doesn’t quite fit on Tumblr.

Since a lot of people were asking for it, I have “Lila Zacharov in 13 Pieces” back up on the site and also have an updated Writing Advice page. Plus the Appearances page is a lot easier to update, so I vow to actually update it. 🙂

Still working out some content, so let me know if there’s something else you’d like to see and I will see what I can do.

The new site is wonderful! It is very easy to use and intuitive. I really like how it has transformed. WELL DONE!

    Hello Mrs. Black!
First of all, many thanks for putting Lila Zacharov back on the website. And the website is very nicely done.
I also wanted to let you some things know: on the Writing Advice page, at the “There’s so much going on in my life. How do I make time for writing?”-question, the link for Black Heart doesn’t work on my computer (the page can’t be found), and the link for Doll Bones sends me to a blank page. (But the one for Coldtown works.) I’ll probably be reading a lot of all those recommendation links too, so if there’s anything wrong with those, I’ll let you know.
And on the Read-Alikes page, the different books and authors aren’t listed beneath each other, but right behind each other. I guess this is some kind of fault in the website, but – if you don’t mind me saying so – it’s very annoying. It’s not easy to read.
I saw on your Appearance page that you’re visiting England. Do you think there’s a chance you’ll be coming to Belgium one of these years? I know the Magisterium series is being translated into Dutch, and I’m very excited to read “The Iron Trial”.

Thanks for catching these! I will go remedy!

Right now, I don’t have any plans to come to Belgium, but whether I make it there in the future depends on my Dutch publisher being interested in bringing me (and Cassie, if its for Magisterium) over.

    Dear Holly Black,
I’d just like to say, I love your books. I just finished the Magesterium series and I thought it was amazing! I just wanted to let you know how important you and Cassadra Clare have been to me. Also, I have a couple questions. First off, could you PLEASE wright a prequel to the magesterium series about The Enemy Of Death’s life, it would be so awesome! I also wondered if you could some how wright a book with Rick Riordan because he is super awesome just like you. You are my favorite author right along side Cassandra Clare and Rick Riordan.
Sincerely, Quite easily, your biggest fan

What interesting ideas! Right now, Cassie and I don’t have any plans for prequels, but it really is a great notion. Thank you!!
